A Dutch Perspective On Our Political Process

From an email I received…

“We in Denmark can not figure out why you are even bothering to hold an election.

On one side, you have a bi*ch who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer . . . and a lawyer who is married to a bi*ch who is a lawyer.

On the other side, you have a war hero married to a good looking woman with big biznoobies who owns a beer distributorship.

Is there a contest here?”

They have a point!

Abra Cadabra Martini
2 part Van Gogh Vodka
1/2 part peach schnapps
1/2 part apricot brandy
1 part pineapple juice

Pour ingredients into shaker and with ice and shake. Strain into a COLD martini glass.

Hello A-6 Dude
Sorry i took so long to respond, but I have finals coming up getting my third degree. I posted on one of your previous messages but did not get any answer. Here is my response to your message that you left on Paladin's page on Churchill: Microcosm of the Left

I am going to comment on how you can feel that just because my English is not written properly, you guess that I am not American or that English was not my first language. Considering on what you see and not what you have written shows me your grammar must have been taken from a cereal box. The way your sentence is written tells me that you didn’t learn English until about last year. Not an insult though... Who are you fooling? To say it wasn’t any insult is an insult in itself.
I give you the correction on my grammar and punctuation was incorrect and I thank you for pointing that out for me. By the way, I guess if you think that English was my second language, just remember it was I who told you how to spell. I guess you must not have graduated from spelling class even though your first language was English.
Enough with the little bickering back and forth, let’s continue on the subject. As for addressing you on this matter, I apologize for my ignorance on using the application of blogs for not acknowledging you directly.
I read your response as Bill suggested and asked for some clarifications on the proper use of grammar.
In your response you write “There is one thing that baffles me about the left's refusal to see what these Islamofascists for what they are” I understand that you were talking about the left in the beginning asking why can’t they (left) see what these […] what they (islamofascists) are.
However the next line says “why can’t they (left) see that [their] (should be Islamofascists) core beliefs. To use of (their) refers to the first subject in the sentence and because you used they to identify the left and not the Islamofascists.
Upon your statement that there is no credible evidence to convince you that homosexuality isn’t a choice: Where is your evidence to say that it is a choice? As for saying that God said it was a sin it all depends on your interpretation of the Bible and the particular Bible you are reading. God did not say anything about murder, the words I believe you were looking for is “Thou shall not Kill” Does not say its ok during war time or anything else. If you are also reading the bible literally it also says lay with woman and multiply. I do not remember it ever saying that lets have recreational sex with wife until you want a child. I also don’t remember ever seeing anything in the Bible regarding divorces. I was always taught it was sacred bond and that death would be the only way out of it, however, it must be one of the “many other things that humans do are not in accordance with His (God) will” In addition, to say “Why would He intentionally create something that He would condemn?” is absolutely ludicrous when babies are stillborn, born with deformity, diseases etc… What would he intentionally kill these babies then? I do remember a verse in the Bible and it comes from Matthew 7:1a: “Judge not, that ye be not judged” Though some say it is for a hypocritical judgment. Who is to say what is hypocritical? If you use your opinion to judge someone, does it not say those without sin cast the first stone? That’s the hypocrites for you.
One final statement I am unsure that you say that “[you]I base [your] beliefs on research and observations is where did you find that the core beliefs of the Islamofascists core beliefs are “killing babies on demand, choosing a homosexual lifestyle, same sex marriage, etc)”.
I am gay and Bill is not. He is my best friend and it was I who told him about your first comment on his page. I am very glad you did so. This was not about you but I am very touchy on the subject of blaming homosexuality for anything. By putting down it is a core belief of Islamofascists, is like blaming the Heterosexual for the destruction of the institute of marriage and family values because of divorce. Knowing that Gay couples cannot enjoy the institute of marriage that cannot be the Gay’s fault. I enjoy reading your blog and wish I had the knowledge and the time to write a blog.

On another note, I apologize for taking this a little too far emotionally and please I hope you continue to comment on Bill’s blog because he is a great man. He has helped me with a lot after my strokes, as of results from that help we are best friends.

Bartman, I will address your comments back where it belongs...on the original post by Bill.

This post is not even on the same topic and the people that chose to read and comment on this post do not need to be dragged into our discussion.

Look for my reply there.

Chuck, I have been busier than a one-armed man in a paper hanging contest. I will be back posting soon, though. I appreciate you asking.

Well, at least you are not as busy as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. I hope things even out a little and you have more time for yourself.
